Physics teacher

The European School of Karlsruhe (www.es-karlsruhe.eu) is located in one of the most dynamic regions in Europe. The school offers education to approx. 900 pupils, in three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from 3-18 years. We require from 1st September 2019 an experienced teacher of Physics for all secondary classes up to European Baccalaureate level (A-Level), also qualified to teach ICT and/or Integrated Science and /or mathematics, in English at mother tongue level. Applicants must have a B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience in international schools would be an advantage. The position involves a min. 18 hours of teaching to all secondary levels.

The successful candidate will be working under the authority of the Director of the European School, in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment, in a school with an outstanding academic record. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions. There are currently 13 European Schools in 6 countries (http://www.eursc.eu )
