The European School of Karlsruhe offers education to approx. 1000 pupils, in three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from 3-18 years. We require a teacher of Physics in English in classes 4 (S4 – syllabus), 5 (S5 – syllabus), 6 (S6 – syllabus) and 7 (s7 – syllabus) of the secondary school. Applicants must have a Degree, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification and at least the C1 level in English. Experience in international or European schools would be an asset. The position involves approx. 20-21 teaching periods (fulltime: 21 periods – 1 period = 45 minutes).
The successful candidate will be working under the authority of the Director of the European School, in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment, in a school with an outstanding academic record. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions. There are currently 13 European Schools in 6 countries.
