The S3 students spent a week in the Bavarian Forest, staying in Bad Kötzting.
On the way there, the group stopped in Nuremberg, where they had time to explore the historic city centre.
The week was filled with outdoor activities and new experiences. Students went canoeing, cycling, and hiking in the beautiful surroundings. They reached the Geodetic Observatory in Wettzell by following the Planetenweg, a scale model of the Solar System, combining sport, nature, and learning in a unique way. At the observatory, they learned more about geodetic research and Earth observation.
The programme also included sports and leisure activities. Students enjoyed swimming at Aqacur, took part in an archery course, and played table tennis, volleyball, and football. One evening, they observed the night sky through a telescope.
In the evenings, the group shared memorable moments together around a campfire and during a barbecue. They also watched the World Cup match between Ecuador and Germany and were glad to follow the game, even though Germany lost.
After a week full of adventure and shared experiences, the students returned home tired but very happy.
