A teacher for Secondary school
to teach: BIOLOGY, INTEGRATED SCIENCES and INFORMATICS
starting immediately / 8 to 12 periods per week

The European School of Karlsruhe offers education to approx. 1000 pupils, in three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from 3-18 years. We require for the Secondary school a teacher …:
 … from immediately until the end of the school year, of Integrated sciences in English (S2 class – 4 periods per week – link to the syllabus), Informatics (ICT) in German (S2 class – 2 x 1 periods per week –link to the syllabus) and Informatics (ICT) in English (S3 class – 2 periods per week – link to the syllabus).
 … from 07.01.2026 until the end of the school year, 4 additional weekly periods, of Biology in German (S7 class – Biology 4-periods – link to the syllabus).

Applicants must be qualified to teach these subjects and be fluent in German and English. The position consists of 8 to 12 teaching hours (8 to 12 x 45 minutes – full-time = 21 hours).

The successful candidate will be working under the authority of the Director of the European School, in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment, in a school with an outstanding academic record. The European Schools are official educational establishments controlled jointly by the governments of the Member States of the European Union. In all these countries they are legally regarded as public institutions. There are currently 13 European Schools in 6 countries.
