COMPETITION FOR THE DESIGN OF THE ERASMUS+ PROTECTED LOGO
Project “La MEMOria che REsta” – KA 210- SCH 000177533

1 PARTICIPANTS
The competition is open to students from participating schools.
Each participant may submit one or more proposals, up to a maximum of 3.
The work can be group or individual.

2 SUBJECT MATTER OF THE COMPETITION
The logo should reflect and communicate the meaning of our project “The memory that remains” that unites
3 partner schools in 3 countries and two associations: Italy, Greece and Germany.
The drawings, whose authors bear responsibility, must be original and unpublished, . Participants certify that
the logo is the result of their personal creativity, that it is their work and that the copyrights of other people
have not been violated.

3 FORMAT AND TECHNIQUE
The drawing must be able to adapt to different sizes and uses with visibility and readability
correct, in most applications, it will not be higher than 3 centimetres.
Format. Must be presented in DIN-A4 format
Technique. Free technique, we recommend the use of flat inks.

4 PRESENTATION AND DELIVERY OF WORKS

FIRST PHASE
The participant or participants will deliver the logo design and their data in an envelope
sealed in A4 format, which must have the pseudonym written on the front. Inside the
envelope:
– Logo design.
– Details of the participant or participants: name, surname, telephone number and contact
written on paper and inserted in a small envelope (type of letter) closed and with the pseudonym
written on the front of the envelope.
The logos sent to the competition will be delivered to the school by July 15, 2024.

SECOND PHASE
The winning logo will be selected.
Each school will send the 5 selected logos to the following email: ithaki77@gmail.com
scanned with good resolution.
Deadline to send logos will be July 16th, 2024.

5 CONCLUSION OF THE COMPETITION

FIRST PHASE
The jury will be composed by the administrators of the Project’s PLATFORM (professional designers).

SECOND PHASE
A table with all of the 15 logos will be prepared and sent by e-mail to the coordinators of the different
countries.
A jury of three experts will select the logo that they think is most appropriate.
The jury will send the logo and the reason for the choice to the following e-mail

The winning logo will be announced on 19th July 2024 and will be used for all documents
of the project.
The jury will give its verdict based on the following criteria:
– Easy identification of the proposal with the project “La memoria che resta” which unites schools and
associations from Italy, Greece and Germany.
– Innovative and creative design.
– Adaptability to any support for the dissemination of documentation and activities of schools and
associations.
The jury claims the right not to award any prize, if the quality of the product is poor.

6 AWARDS
The winning logo will receive a diploma and a gift voucher of 100 euros (taken from the project economies).

7 INTELLECTUAL OWNERSHIP OF THE WORKS
The winning work will remain the property of the participating schools, which bear the right to reproduce,
assign and use it as they see fit, or modify it if they deem it necessary, without any payment or against any
provision of the author.
Unassigned logos can be retrieved within a maximum period of one month from the date of conclusion of the
competition in each school.
Should the retrieval not happen within a reasonable time, the organisation can dispose of the unsuccessful
proposals.

8 ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES
Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of the rules of the competition and respect for the
jury’s decision.

SELECTION NOTICE for WORKSHOPS AND MOBILITY IN ITALY, GERMANY, GREECE (5 students 2024/2025) SUBJECT: Notice for the submission of applications for the selection of participating students.

INTRODUCTION: The “The memory that remains” project intends to maintain the enthusiasm and the training trust that revolves around design activities and size

International School of the European School of Karlsruhe. Laboratory and mobility activities are planned for the entire 2024/25 school year as can be seen from the information materials published on the website of the European School of Karlsruhe.

This is a partnership with European high schools and history associations

Contemporary. In the filigree of the project we understand the need for organic approaches innervated by inclusion, sustainability, digitalisation and democratic participation. In summary, the expected results concern the short and medium term:
– greater access to student mobility for learning abroad;
– strengthening motivation and enhancing learning through
recognized and certified study programs abroad;
– the improvement of historical, linguistic, intercultural, digital and communication skills
European citizenship of all participants in the mobilities;
– the expansion of the network of existing relationships and ongoing European partnerships;
– the contribution to the orientation of studies and future perspectives.

IMPLEMENTATION METHODS:

Candidates must have a passion and interest in contemporary history, good English language skills and the following transversal skills:
ability to organize and reconcile project activities with the study of curricular disciplines (for the entire school year), autonomy, ability to communicate and manage interpersonal relationships; adaptability; awareness of one’s personal and professional expectations; flexibility and strong motivation for the mobility experience.

APPLICATION: Students enrolled in the fifth and sixth grades of the European School of Karlsruhe for the 2024/2025 school year will be able to send their applications.
Students who wish to participate in the mobility must complete the Application Form (form attached to this announcement). The deadline for submission of the application is Wednesday 10 July 2024 by 1.00 pm. They won’t be evaluate applications that arrive incomplete or late.
The application must be sent by email with the required attachments to the following address: info@es-karlsruhe.eu  and to the email address of the contact teacher Cosmo: cosmopa@teacher.eursc.eu

In the email you must specify:
Erasmus application KA210- “The memory that remains”.
The application form must be dated, signed, scanned and accompanied by the
documentation specified below:
– Motivational letter explaining the motivation for the application e
interest in contemporary history, compiled in English.
-Level of digital skills
– Parental consent (attached to this announcement);
– Identity document (valid for travel abroad, in PDF format with your surname).

The judgment of the selection will be unquestionable and the outcome of the selection will be published by.

The Project will provide:

  2. Food, accommodation (family hospitality).

The selected students will sign a

CO-RESPONSIBILITY AGREEMENT AND WILL UNDERTAKE TO RESPECT THE ACTIVITY PLANNING.
